TUNGSTEN GRINDERS

Tungsten grinders ensure a safe and precise method of grinding TIG tungstens.

They are essential for orbital or mechanised TIG applications because the same tip profile can be produced perfectly every time and improves repeatability and quality in production. 

There are risks from inhaling Tungsten dust and especially from Thoriated tungstens which is a radioactive element and this is mitigated by the using a tungten grinder which safely collects the particles.  

Grinding tungtens on a conventional grinding stone is difficult and there is a risk of injury from the wheel. On our tungsten grinders the diamond wheel is fully enclosed making them ideal for technical colleges, universities and training establishments because they are completely safe for the operator.

You have choice of a bench top ginder in the Ultima model and a portable unit called the Neutrix. Both are available in 230v a 110v input.
