The URANOS 2000 SMC is the perfect welding power source for simple, reliable and modern wire fed welding. It is particularly suited to the continuous processes typical of light metal fabrication, boatbuilding, car repair and mechanical workshops in general.

Mig welding is fully synergic accepting a 200mm 5kg reel and with 0.8mm wire will achieve 200 amps output.

When MMA welding you can select electrode type to to optimise performance and there is a simple material thickness guide to ensure the current is selected.

TIG welding on the Uranos is full function with slope in, slope out, standard pulse and fast pulse. Arc ignition is by lift arc because there is no HF on this machine but you still have full fuction with gas control on the trigger switch. You will also need to purchase the dedicated TIG torch for this machine and it fits to the central adaptor.
